Supplying Label Artwork - Acceptable Formats

Files created in QUARK “PASSPORT” cannot be opened by Quark Single User. Customer must therefore save “PASSPORT” files as “SINGLE USER” format

TO ENSURE AN ACCURATE QUOTE WE ADVISE SENDING ORIGINAL DESIGN FILES
For example (ILLUSTRATOR FILES TEND TO BE “.EPS OR .AI” TAGS.

ORIGINAL DESIGN FILES ARE ESSENTIAL FOR JOBS WHICH ARE TO BE PRODUCED BY AN OUTSIDE REPROGRAPHICS HOUSE

PDF FILES
We will use these files for viewing and quoting. In some cases a PDF file can be used to produce artwork, this is dependent on how the PDF file was originally saved and from which Program.

PLEASE BE AWARE. Not supplying Original Design Files at quoting stage may mean a job is costed incorrectly. This will mean a re-quote if artwork files are different when jobs are ordered.

JPEGS / TIFFS / BITMAPS / PCX
These files will only be accepted as part of a job which has original design files (usually created by one of the “PROGRAMS” above).

We cannot accept IMAGES under 300dpi. Ideally, images need to be 600dpi, otherwise the print will look poor.

If the customer only has one of these files, a further charge may be necessary to make the files useful for production.
WE WILL ADVISE A PRICE FOR THIS IF REQUIRED.

PLEASE INCLUDE JOB REF/QUOTE REF, ORDER NO., COMPANY NAME & CONTACT
ALL FONTS USED TO CREATE THE FILE and ALL SCANS / IMAGES USED WITHIN THE FILE.  FOR DIGITAL PRINTING, PLEASE SUPPLY IMAGES ON CMYK MODE (rather than RGB).

If fonts cannot be supplied, please ensure that all text within a file is converted to Paths / Outlines (remember files supplied in this way cannot be amended by us as we may not have the font used).
